Review: L-Change The World

Watched the movie with Wend. Not a bad spinoff from DeathNote. Get to see the more human side of the lengendary detective L. Lawliet. The only downside of the movie, it downplayed the intellect powers of L.

In the original DeathNote, L was such a great thinker and strategist that it was thrilling just to see him and Kira pitted against each other with just wits alone. This movie however depended more on "action" rather that the mind-blogging mental fight.

And one more thing, there are terms in this movie that is easier to follow if you had watched DeathNote. Go watch DeathNote first, after all it is a spinoff.

It is sad to know that L will still die in the end.

Overall, 7/10. *******

"I'll Be Waiting" by Lenny Kravitz

This is the theme song of "L, Change the World", the song which is playing in the background when this post is published. Really like this song a lot as it speaks my heart.

He broke your heart
He took your soul
You're hurt inside
'Cause there's a hole
You need some time
to be alone
then you will find
what you've always known

I'm the one who really love ya, baby
I've been knockin' at your door

and as long as I'm livin'
I'll be waitin'
as long as I'm breathin'
I'll be there
whenever you call me
I'll be waitin'
whenever you need me
I'll be there

I've seen ya cry
into the night
I feel your pain
can I make it right?
I realize
there's no end in sight
yet still I wait
for you to see the light

I'm the one who really loves ya, baby
I can't take it anymore

and as long as I'm livin'
I'll be waitin'
as long as I'm breathin'
I'll be there
whenever you call me
I'll be waitin'
whenever you need me
I'll be there

You are the only one I've ever known
that makes me feel this way, couldn't on my own
I wanna be with you until we're old
you've got the love you need right in front of you, please come home

as long as I'm livin'
I'll be waitin'
as long as I'm breathin'
I'll be there
whenever you call me
I'll be waitin'
whenever you need me
I'll be there

as long as I'm livin'
I'll be waitin'
as long as I'm breathin'
I'll be there
whenever you call me
I'll be waitin'
whenever you need me
I'll be there

Z Monster Post.

If only I am a more photoholic like my friend, I would have more pictures to post. Haha. Nonetheless, most of my post will be words, words and more words.
Going for my second night shift soon, can't really sleep now, yet so sleepy. YAWN~

Just went to China Town recently with Wend, realise we kinda fancy the Straits Chinese influenced clothes over at this store called, Isle. The clothes look pretty Indonesian but depends on how you wear it, I think it kinda look good on the both of us. Will be heading there in our next pay day.

Le Grand Chef, American Gangster, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, CJ7 then Sweeney Todd. Next? L-CHANGE THE WORLD! These two months really a lot of good movies.

Myth about Children

Wen suddenly called me in the morning. Something happened? Ya, a boy, seemingly in secondary school was throwing "pearls" from his bubble tea at Wen on the bus.

He threw once, she endured.

He threw twice, she endured somemore.

He threw thrice, she stood up, went over to him and scolded him.

That unrepentent boy scolded vulgarities at her instead.

When she got off the bus, the boy kept calling her "Doggy".

If I was there, I would want to drag that boy (preferably by his hair) down the bus to the nearest police centre for public harrasement.

There's always a Boy's Home for kids such as these.

So it reminds me of a myth that many adult parents childishly believe in. That "a child will learn the right way as he grows up". That is Nonsensical NONSENSE!

If that is true, then we will not need police forces and prisons in our society.

There is a Chinese saying, "that if a child is not corrected, it is the father's (parents') fault".

So speaking, one of the irritating moments is really to see children monkeying around on a bus or train, disturbing other passengers and the parents just sit there and do nothing. Or worse, encourage the children to continue playing. Irresponsible parents.

There was a joke that reflects well about all these things,

These days, in the education system, the teacher is afraid of the principal,
the principal is afraid of the school board,
the school board is afraid of the ministry,
the ministry is afraid of the parents,
the parents is afraid of the children,
and the children, is afraid of no one.

Ironman? That's what a few people call me.

Yet another person called me iron-man, cuz it seems I don't need much sleep. True, I can't sleep well in the day, I tend to wake up before 8am in the morning no matter how late I sleep, and I can stay out late with friends on consecutive nights.

But it all depend on the company I am with. There is a few friends who I can sacrifice my sleep for anything. :)

These are my Nakama(s). :)

My new CG, N255.

Yet another photo-taking session with Wendy. That's her friend, Carrin besides her.

We kinda like the stairs.

2 pretty ladies. He.

Title: Girl by the Picture.
Sounds classic right? But I like this photo.

Wen said we looked like siblings. Ha.

Last pose of the day. :)
